At this moment I should be on my period, but instead I'm ovulating. I used to be very irregular so I suppose this is just an irregular period? I mean, I'm sure this has happened to me before because I used to always be super irregular. I'm actually cramping just a little right now. Is this normal?

And you say you've had irregular periods in the past: for how many months now have they been on a cycle which doesn't deviate by more than a few days?

I know I'm ovulating because my discharge is thick and I keep getting a lot like when I always ovulate.
Well I honestly don't know if they're "regular" even now. Um, let me see... Well I would say for about 1 year now, but every now and then (almost never now) I will get it 2 weeks late or 1 week late.

With and around ovulation, cervical mucus is actually at its thinnest, rather than its thickest. Thick discharge is normally what's seen just before a period.
So, it not only sounds unlikely you're ovulating, sounds like you might be about to get your period. But if you find your periods are still a week or two late within, say, the last six months, then it sounds like you're still pretty irregular.
Either way, doesn't sound like you've anything to worry about here.

Thank you so much! I didn't know that thick discharge is right before a period. No wonder when this discharge is gone I get my period within days. Thanks.
