I'm 15. Since I hit puberty at 11, I've had ridiculous amounts of acne. Last year I gave up on OTC treatments and got benzoyl peroxide from my doctor, which improved it a lot. It was limited to my chin after that, but it started to come back on my forehead, so I got a prescription for a higher concentration. That was fine for months, but now it's starting to appear on my cheeks and nose. There are also red marks on my chin where the worst of the acne used to be. I wash my face twice a day at least, exfoliate every night, and barely, if ever, eat anything processed or greasy (only when my parents make me, and they're usually pretty good with not serving me anything that unhealthy), so I just don't understand it.

Dermatology is pretty far afield of what we do here, which centers around sex education and sexual/reproductive health.

So, your best bet is to talk again to your current dermatologist about this, or try switching to someone else if you don't feel like that person is serving you well.
