I started my period on the 3rd and it was about 4 or 5 days, like normal... and I just started again. not brownish light stuff, but definitely blood. and a significant amount of it.
the thing is, this happened last month too. about a week after my period, I got another one.
is this normal? is it some other kind of bleeding or maybe an sti? what's going on?

Are you up to date with your STI testing? When was your last gyn checkup?

Since you've never been tested, getting that done would be a good idea regardless, but it will also help you get to the bottom of this. It could also be one of several other things, so I'd say your best bet at this point is to get in for a full gyn exam and complete STI screening. Do you need some help finding somewhere to go for that?
