We actually don't advise users on hair removal methods here: we recognize it's absolutely your choice to do or not, but it's not a medical or health-related thing, so we'd recommend you visit other sites to discuss this. However, you're more than welcome to ask other sex and sexuality things here.
We also don't like using terms such as "slutty" because it's labeling and putting down someone's sexuality; we also want to be respectful of porn stars, just as we'd be of everyone else. All that said, you went with something that felt right at the time: if you aren't finding yourself liking it, you can just not get one again; hair does grow out, after all.
Some people think something different or outrageous about everything, remember. If you like it, it's good! If you don't like it, just don't do it again. Pubic hair "maintenance" is for YOU! It's your body, and you shouldn't let anybody make you feel ashamed of it.

just real quick: i get a full bikini wax done because i like it. Opions are just that: opinions, not facts. The few people who know i get a wax don't care and the people who get to SEE that i've had a wax are feeling so darn honoured to have the privilege that their own personal preferences for female genital hair care doesn't cross their mind;P

I would side with everyone else that what should matter is your own preference. I personally, despite my partner constantly hinting at it, would not get a wax because if is not something I enjoy, especially since I have some shaving damage I'd rather hide. And at the same time, I'm neither for nor against my partner getting one herself if she so wishes.
It's your body. You get to decide. (As for myself, while tattoos are becoming more acceptable, I didn't really care if other would think ill of my tattoo, since it was something I did for myself and myself only.)
