Breast tenderness can have a lot of causes, from hormonal changes in your body all the way to just being handled too roughly.
So, to try to narrow down the cause, pay attention to what kinds of things go on before they get sore. Like any part of your body they are sensitive to being handled too roughly as well as being squished.
It's also possible that it's due to hormone changes in your body. But since you have already voiced concern on here about breast tenderness after sex, maybe have a chat with your partner and let them know that your breasts are sensitive. It may be just the solution for you.
And of course, if you are concerned, talking to your doctor about it is never a bad idea, especially if it's reoccurring with no obvious cause.
