Really, what is it about? I went to a new gynecologist yesterday for an annual exam (even though I had had one this year) and he was suprised at how small I was. He said that being 4'10 and 75lbs was extremely small for my age and he was asking me if I ever saw a specialist and thought about HGH.
I thought it was something you could take only during child hood to help you grow more before the end of puberty. I googled it on a few sites but still I found that it only mentioned children taking it. Why would my GYN bring this up at my age (22) if it wasn't an option for me, or did I just misunderstand our conversation?
Anyone have any ideas or any links to where I could find answers? I see my GYN tomorrow (I went for confrontation yesterday and filled out paperwork. I didn't have the exam yet.. it is scheduled for tomorrow) so I can talk to him about what he meant by it, but until then.. anyone?

I looked through my biology book from last year and this is what I could find: There actually is something called Adult Human Growth Deficiency that is found to be one of three types - child onset, adult onset, and child idiopathic onset. The book's listed acceptable treatment is rhGH - it's a form/ variation of HGH - so yes there is a human growth hormone that can be used for adults. The information in the book is about 2 years old ... so there may be more than one by now. One of the sources listed in the book is the Human Growth Foundation ... so maybe you can find something on them?

hm well i really dont know my doctor mentioned it a few months ago but i grew 2 inches since then..so i unno if your 22 then puberty wouldnt be an issue to boost that. because my doctor brought it up because i am somewhat a late bloomer..
