lately, i can't seem to stop eating!! at work, im always so hungry and when i get home, ill munch on everything. i feel like such a pig cause i can't stop. i go to bed hungry and i wake up hungry. is it becaus im in the sun so much during the day ( lifeguard ) or what?
please help! i feel like im gonna eat everything that isn't nailed down!!!
Being italian as well, my family eats a lot as it is . But lately, I HAVE had a very similar experience to yours... it's as if I will eat foods that I hate because I feel so famished (even though I eat 3 balanced meals a day, it's though I am a bottomless pit sometimes). It is ridiculous. I consulted my physician and he said that because I have been so active this past few months (thus many burnt calories) could account for my INCREASED ( )appetite. Another thing that could be is if you are drinking a lot of water. I love water it's basically the only drink that I will drink willingly. Well, anyway, it flushes out your system really well and if you have suddenly been drinking enormous amounts of it you could have an increased appetite. Hope I helped...

Well, keep your mind busy instead of thinking about food. Go out w/ a bunch of friends, keep yourself occupied b/c every time that i am bored i find myself eating the whole house ( well not really ) but what i did is i keep my mind busy, going out w/ friends, shopping, or working and it seemed to work.

Do you know if it's related to your cycles at all? I know for me personally, i eat the whole house when i'm ovulating, and then barely anything when i'm bleeding.
Your activity level could defineatly have something to do w/ it. Being a lifeguard, you need to be more attent than you would any other time ... even during school! 3 meals have never really worked for me, so i just eat when i'm hungry. That doesn't mean i eat 6 meals a day, I just eat little snacks a lot. Like yogurt for breakie, then crackers around 10, then a chicken sandwich for lunch, an apple or some other fruit around 4, dinner (i find it important to eat one full meal a day ... for me), then maybe toast before bed or something. That's just me tho ... My energy has gone up since i started this and i'm rarely hungry
