I really don't know how to describe this, but I'll do my best. I had it happen really bad last night. It kept me awake for a while. figured that I would check on here and see if you guys know what it is.

It occurs once every couple of monthes. I'm not really sure how long it lasts... maybe a half hour, maybe an hour, maybe longer... it generally happens in the evening.

It happens somewhere in the vagina... it's not really an itch... you could scratch all you want, but it makes no difference... it is internal, and is very, very uncomfortable. Staying still helps. It's not a pain... it's an uncomfortable sensation.

I don't know if it is triggered by heat or not. Last night it was very, very warm. I woke up in the middle of the night and had it... me, being half asleep, and frusterated from the heat, tried to itch it out... I tossed and turned for a while, until I found a position on my back, and I managed to fall asleep.

I can't remember when it started... it was way before I was sexually active... maybe six or so years ago, when I was around 12 or 13. It happens so infrequently, but when it does happen, it is annoying.

I'm hoping that it isn't something serious... but is there anything that can help it?

Thanks.
