A little while ago I noticed what appeared to be some sort of hard whitish sore on the right side of my inner labia, right above the opening of my vagina. I thought it was some sort of Bartholin cyst. Well, it's not white or hard anymore, but now it looks like some sort of cut. It's probably about a 1/4 inch long, it's not bleeding, but it doesn't really look like it's healing either. And sometimes during sex it sorta stings and hurts, but I think it's from being rubbed against since it only hurts in certain positions.
Any ideas what this might be, or what I should do?

We really can't diagnose things over the Net (even if we were doctors!), so I'd really recommend you pay your doctor or gyn a visit to get the sore looked at. Until you get it checked out, it's also a good plan to abstain from sexual activity involving the area, to reduce risk of transmission should it turn out to be an STD, and to help avoid irritating it further.

I was tested for AIDS and STDs in January, as was my boyfriend, so it's not that. I plan on visiting the doctors and I'm not asking for a diagnosis, I mainly wondering if anyones had a similar problem/experience.

You should stop sexual contact until you get this checked out. Dont be scared, because it will be a relief to you if you find out thwat it is and if its something you should be worried about.
