i broke my arm a little over two months ago and now that i have my cast off the broken arm has alot of hair why though?

Oooh, good question. Maybe because your other arm had more exposure and the hair just fell out naturally, or it was rubbed more by shirts, etc? (I notice that when I wear jeans, the hair on my legs falls off in some areas where the jeans are tight and/or rub a lot.)

If anyone has a real answer, fill me in. I've broken mine twice, and I've noticed that each time too.

Lets see if I can remember the explanation from when I broke mine...

Hair growth under a cast occurs mostly due to the irritation of the skin under the cast. With a plaster cast, the plaster/padding of the cast constantly rubs against the skin under it, causing irritation and increasing blood flow. This stimulates hair growth, and the hair grows in response to the irritation to "shield" the body from the irritant (the cast). Now that the cast is gone, there is nothing there to irritate the skin anymore, and pretty soon the amount of hair on your arm should go back to normal.

oh ok that's interesting thank you for the explanaiton (i kinda like the hair cus i naturaly don't have much..lol)
