I really want to work out my buns and thighs, other than a balanced healthy diet, what forms of workout is best for it?
Other than pilates, how about a biking machine?
Does that work out your buns as well as your thighs?
Thanks! <3

Really, questions like this are best asked of a personal trainer or of a site specifically for excercise. Even the public library can be of help.

Cosmetic-based questions like this really are outside of our mission and work here at Scarleteen, as they aren't related to human sexuality in any real way, so we ask users post things like this elsewhere to best use our resources and our time.

(But overall? The muscles of your legs are connected to the muscles of your buttocks: anything that uses one pretty much uses the other. More importantly, the very best exercise is simply that which you enjoy doing: when exercise is about "spot" training for appearance, only or primarily, it tends to be a short-lived endeavor.)

I've been trying to lose weight for a long time, and tend to find exercise hard to stick to. My favorite exercise is swimming, but I'm still self-conscious in a swimsuit, even after losing 23 lbs. I went with my second favorite- dancing. It's really good exercise, and makes you feel really accomplished, since you can use the skills socially too. Belly dancing is a lot of fun and helps build lean muscles, and ballroom dancing is also a fun workout.
I'd suggest Dance Dance Revolution for a fun, fast workout that will build nice muscles on your legs. Make sure you're eating plenty of lean protein if you want to build muscles. And make sure you don't carry it too far- spot training really doesn't work well, and exercising too much is just as bad as not exercising enough.

When oyu exercise, it's best to do the whole package. Cardio with resistance training will boost your metabolism as well as strengthen and scult your muscles.

For cardio, I recommend the Stairmaster. It'll get your heart going AND make you work your butt ON. It's my cardio of choice this month (you should change cardio exercises every month so you're continually challenging yourself).

If you wanna work your muscles, make sure you exercise plenty of muscle groups. Weighted squats will work your thighs and butt. So will weighted lunges. Leg presses are good for working lots of leg muscles at once AND burning lots of calories. It's more bang for your buck.
