for about a month now, ive had lower back pain. specifically at the end of my tailbone. its not searing horrible pain that I feel all the time, just when i sit or bend in certain positions. more of that just achey feeling. I'm guessing it might be because ive had an art class where im hunched over on a stool doing some artwork for over an hour, and also bad posture in the computer chair. what methods might soothe it away?

I'm dealing with the same thing myself right now, after straining my back at yoga. If you've had poor posture for a long time, that could put extra pressure on your lower back and cause pain.
Make sure to sit up straight and maybe get a lumbar support cushion for your chair. Try gentle stretches like touching your toes, hamstring streches with a towel, lying on your back with your knees pulled to your chest. Using a heating pad or hot water bottle helps too.
If that doesn't help after a couple of weeks, you should probably see a doctor & maybe have some physical therapy. I hope you feel better soon.
