I've had my period since I was 11. I'm 17 years old and ever since I graduated in 2005 I've had extremely irregular periods.

Over Christmas break though, I wasn't under any stress and yet I skipped my period. The month before, I had odd spotting before getting my period. Never on my underwear, etc but only when I wiped. Once on a monday, once on a Thursday, and then Thursday evening I started my period, which was normal and lasted for six days.

However, now I've skipped.

Could this be a sign of something wrong with my body? Especially since I'm over the three year stance.

Also, in mid-November, my boyfriend and I were active but not entirely. WE did not "do it." At all. Afterwards though, we were cleaning up and I accidentally wiped myself with the same rag I used to clean up a little stickiness from him. Would this cause me to be pregnant? I highly doubt it but it is a fear of mine.

Thanks.

If you're worried about being pregnant, a pregnancy test can clear up your worries - if your last risk was in November, then it will certainly be accurate.

However, if the test is negative then it's a good bet that you should be seeing your gyno or doctor, especially since I'm under the impression that these irregular periods are a recent thing of the last year.

In the meantime, perhaps reading this article will help you out: MIA: Dude, Where's my Period?
