for about the past week, i have noticed a few red spots that randomly come and go on my lower arms, wrists, and hands. they usually pop up in different places. i notice that when iput lotion on them, they usually start to fade and then disappear a few hours to a day later. anyone have any idea what this could be? my friends think it is dry skin because it is really cold outside and my dorm is very humid. thanks!

ps- they are small and red, but it is not like a rash.. there are only 3-4 and they are spread out and come and go randomly... they do not itch.

sorry, but that's too vague to go on. if you wanna know, you need a diagnosis from a physician.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a pretty harmless skin fungus. You really should see a doctor or drop by a clinic to find out what yours is.Of course, whatever you do, don't freak out.

it might be because your skin is sensitive. Maybe to a lotion you use, soap or sunscreen? but see your doctor.
