Is it possible for a labia to get a swollen bump as a result of being hit?

See, yesterday I finally decided that walking everywhere is slow, so I went and bought a bike. It's been a while since I last rode a bike, so naturally I had some falling off issues and some getting on issues, etc. At one point I somehow managed to sit on/pinch one of my labia pretty hard (I think it somehow got tangled in my underwear/jeans/general weirdness of bike seat--I really have no idea how it happened, but I definitely hurt one of my labia). Today I got my period and went to put my Keeper in, and there's a lump on my right labia. Literally in the middle of it--it feels for all the world like the same kind of bump you get when you hit your head, and it's definitely not an open sore or anything.

I'm pretty sure I just managed to hurt myself biking yesterday (yes, I will be more careful in the future) but wanted to check that it's probably not something more serious.

hey purple, haven't seen you aorund in a while. anyway, it's probably some kind of bruise. it can happen. let it heal, avoid tight pants and the like. if the lump doesn't go away in a week, then give your doctor a call.

Yeah--school and stuff suddenly got really busy and I just haven't had a chance to be around as much.

Thanks--I wasn't terribly worried but wanted to make sure that it's actually possible to get bumps there as a result of a knock. It seems better today, too.

Now, to re-learn riding a bike.
