about the shiny legs, on camera that's done with oil or glycerine. or sometimes it's done by setting the camera to soft focus. in magazines, it's airbrushing. in real life, it can be had with a smooth shave and good moisturizer (lots of good lotion!).

i think shimmery lotions are pretty novel, but the ones i've tried aren't all that good at moisturizing (gives Bath and Body Works the evil eye).

i'd definitely start by treating the ksin itself. moisturize frequently, and when you shower, exfoliate your skin with a good washcloth, scrubby exfoliating wash and/or a loofah.

once you get that done, maybe try the shimmery lotion, but before you put the shimmery stuff on, definitely rub in some moisturizer first.

Cocoa butter (try to get the pure stuff that comes in little sticks, not a lotion containing cocoa butter), or a dry oil spray might be shinier than other moisturisers.

I love cocoa butter. That stuff works wonderfully and it smells nice too. I even like putting it on stretch marks because it makes them a lot less noticeable.
