Can Toenail polish or polish remover turn your toenails yellow? Or just yellow just mean its a fungus...period.

i've had several polishes and removers turn my nail yellow. i'd have to suggest, don't use cheap junk. if it's 99 there's a reason for it. also, the non-acetone remover stuff doesn't discolor my nails.

nail fungus signs are: yellowing, brittleness, thickened nails, ragged patches, white splotches.

more surly than girly...

Sometimes nail polish, dirt and bacteria can stain the nails. This can be removed by using a Q-tip or an orangewood stick with a cotton tip. Soak the cotton in 10 parts water mixed with 1 part bleach, then rub the nail where the stain is. This will remove most stains from the nails. Scrub under the nails with a nail brush or toothbrush with soap or bleach solution to remove stains under the nails.

Be careful. Be VERY careful.
