this is going to sound silly, but the other day my friend and i were talking and the subject of pubic hair come up and she said that depending on what colour your hair is your pubic hair is the same colour. I have never thought about this as i have black hair. Is she telling me the truth?

I believe it's different for everyone. For some people, it's the same colour as the hair on their head, for others it's a different colour.

Beppie's right ... It's usually pretty close tho, i think. My pubic hair is just a little darker than the hair on my head. I just figured it had to do w/ the sun ... since the sun makes it lighter and all. not only can pubic hair differ from the hair on your head, but beards can differ from them as well. my boy has blondish hair, and a red beard. we won't go into what's in his shorts

me and my guys friends were talking about this yesterday! :O we always ask as a joke "do your curtains match your bedspread?" it is the same meaning as pubic hair and hair on your head. it just takes awhile for whoever u ask to get it! my recent ex-boy had light brown hair and BLONDE pubics!!!! it is really weird! my other guy friend has black on both. i myself have light brown hair and dark brown pubics!

At one point they were the same color, but now i am far more grey up top than down below.

Right...I was just thinking about this. So if basically everyone either has blonde or brown hair that answered this...what color is pubic has for red heads? Would it be brown too??

I thought it was supposed to be that pubic hair matched eyebrows. At least, that's what someone said in grade nine, and it was accepted as true, because none of us really wanted to admit if we knew otherwise.

I once went swimming with a redhead in a revealing bathing suit. She had very red pubic hair, same as her head. I thought it was so cool. Didn't say so though, of course.
