a "barrier" is a generic term for any contraceptive device that physically block sperm or stuff from getting somewhere. dental dams, diaphragms and condoms are all barriers. and while they can block sperm from entering the uterus, diaphragms do not prevent germs from transmitting to the vagina. dental dams are used on women's genitalia during oral sex. cling wrap works, too. and studded condoms are condoms with little raised dots on them. the dots provide texture to make penetration a little more interesting. ribbed condoms are similar. ------------------ IP: Logged |
