(Forgive me. Transformers have been on my mind lately, and I don't know why). It's a silicone-based lubricant. Very, very slippery, doesn't dry out at all, and doesn't need much to be effective. But it's quite hard to remove. Soap and water gets it off hands, but doesn't seem to work so well elsewhere, and there's no chance of rubbing it off, or absorbing it, like oil. It worked well for its intended purpose, but I felt a bit nervous about its persistence. However, I have been using it recently to give a gorgeous shine to patent leather, and lubricate parts of a 50-some-year-old Mixmaster, and it works even better for those purposes than for its original purpose. I feel like a bit of a pervert whipping cream with an appliance that's maintained with a sex accessory, but versatility can be a virtue. IP: Logged |

*lol*  I am all for multi-purposing lubes. I use a lighter forumlation silicone lube that is alright removable through a good wipe with a towel and washing with soap and water, and that also works quite nicely on screeching doors or bike parts and also got my wind bee (a little decorative bee thing on my balcony) moving again, without using oil. ------------------ "We must become the change we want to see." My hand got caught in a pipe and it was stuck, we used lubricant to get it out! Haha! Lube can come in handy, eh? ------------------

LoL. My hand was near this pipe and me and my friends were playing with it (in her pool), it was obviously not a hole I was supposed to be putting my hand in, but I did and it sucked my hand up! I still don't even know what that thing was, but I know they had to stop the little thingies and squirt lubricant in the top of the thing and I had to wiggle my hand around and it slid right out. ------------------
