I was wondering what the best way is for a male about to have sex for the first time (say, within the next 6 months or so) NOT to cum. I would love nothing more then to be able to last long enough to satisfy my partner, since I love her so much. I have noticed that the older I've gotten, the quicker I cum while masturbating. Is there anyway to counter this? Thanks.

Actually, how long you last has almost nothing to do with whether you "satisfy" your partner or not.

The majority of women can't reach orgasm from intercourse alone anyway, no matter how long it lasts.

So factors like communication and willingness to find out what stimulation does work for her, rather than making it all about intercourse (or, for that matter, all about orgasm - it's not a competition or a performance), tend to be key.

Incidentally, it's very normal for young guys to reach orgasm quickly.

That makes sense. Thank you.

...but are there anyways to increase one's sustainability?

Yes, but no magic quick fixes .

What you can do is get to know your own body and notice the sensations as you get near orgasm, so that you can gradually learn to recognize when you're getting close and then choose to slow things down before you reach the "point of no return".

If that's something you want to work on, fine. But it's not a magic way of increasing your girlfriend's pleasure during intercourse, so don't get fixated on it or develop unrealistic expectations.

Also, I think that most people (guys at least) can reach orgasm more quickly by masturbating than by any sexual activity with a partner. I know that it doesn't take long for me when i'm by myself, but when i'm with my girlfriend, even if she's got the technique down tailored exactly to what i like, it still takes a considerable longer amount of time. I used to be scared of the same thing happening. I think its just that way cuz with two people the situation is much more complex.

Don't worry about it man...i'm sure you're fine.
