Hi trine, and Welcome to the boards.

Over here, we discourage slang-term-use because you end up literally not understanding what the other one is actually talking about - just like you with the people around you . And it's nothing bad not to know the slang terms (as long as you know the correct ones!).

Problem is, we've had people come in and ask about specific terms and would come up with several possible meanings. It seems to really differ from group to group what certain slang words mean.
Just thought I'd let you know, that I don't think it will be terribly useful for you (in terms of understanding your friends) if people come here and tell you what the current term for oral sex is whith the people that they hang around.

Maybe you can ask one of your friends - you'd be surprised, sometimes they prolly don't know what's behind the slang term either.

I haven't really noticed any new slang recently, but maybe I just haven't been paying enough attention. I can usually tell when people are talking about sex by how much giggling and pelvic thrusting there is, but don't feel that compelled to learn the words. And considering that my friends and I have invented new terms for sexual things, sometimes just out of boredom, and sometimes to see if we could bluff other people, I'd not worry too much about words you don't know.

Here is a really good reason why we don't use slang terms

there are so many great words out there, why do people still feel the need to use slang??? Has anyone ever sounded intelligent when speaking in slang? I have yet to hear it.

say it with me: penis PEE-niss.
