Any user actually can get as good an estimate as anyone else on that, Jess. Just add up the total posts as shown on the front page and do the math with the total number of registered users. Obviously, that doesn't account for the disparity between users who post once only and users who have posted regularly since the beginning, but it can give you a pretty easy average # of posts per user. Most users here tend to come for one initial emergency or question, talk a wee bit more, then go away until they have another question, some have even done that spaining since 2000. I would certainly say half of the otal do NOT post everyday: honestly, if they did we couldn't afford to run the boards anymore. 10,000, actually.  However, the boards are just one part of the site, and one that is not actively used by the majority of site visitors.Around 5,000 people visit the whole site each day.
