Hello. I'm going back to school on Sunday (I live on campus). I will be a sophomore undergrad student at Rutgers University (in New Jersey, USA). I have to start packing my things, like today, lol. I still haven't started yet *lazy* hehe, but I can't WAIT to go back to school! Anyone else can't wait? Or dreading it, lol?

Well, i'm still on my time off. I've been out since August 2005, and I won't be returning until next summer (2007). Last year's reason for time off was for wedding plans, and other things. This time around, we're saving for a house and etc so I need to work full time in order for make those dreams happen. I am committed to my return though because I only have 4 1/2 credits left to do and dying to graduate. So basically, I am enjoying my time off but I also can't wait for my return as well!

I never left. :-P I took classes and stayed in Scarborough this summer since I got elected to the Executive of the student union and the job started in May. :-) I am excited for September, though. It's my birthday this weekend, next week is Orientation and I get to be a group leader for a bunch of incoming first-years, and when classes start I'll be getting back to Anthropology courses, which I wasn't able to take this summer (crappy summer offerings). I specialise in Medical Anthro and I really really love it, so it's exciting to get back to that material. Work will probably pick up too. :-D

I didn't leave either - I stayed in Victoria this summer to work and dance; instead of me visiting them, my family came out here from Winnipeg for a week. It's been a....well, not good, but definitely interesting summer, but I am looking forward to going back to school. It'll be my fifth (and hopefully last) year of my double major in anthropology and biology, and I feel like I'm just starting to get the hang of this being-a-student thing. I'm very much looking forward to my classes, as well as a bunch of activities on campus - I can't believe I just discovered that the University of Victoria has a Women's Centre !
