Very sad stuff. She had a long and fulfilling life, and i hope wherever she may be that she is happy. ------------------ 'You've got the eyes of ten women. Not in a jar! I wasn't accusing you. I just mean your eyes are really nice'-coupling

It's quite an anti-clamatic start to your sixteenth birthday when you find out that the Queen Mother died. *sigh* But I'll never forget the day she died...

There'll be bluebirds over the white cliffs of Dover Tomorrow, just you wait and see There'll be love and laughter and peace ever after Tomorrow when the world is free(The shepherd will tend his sheep) (The valley will bloom again) And Jimmy will go to sleep In his own little room again

I was watching coverage of the funeral today on CNN. I was awed by the pagentry of the ceremony, as well as the support shown by the British people...

It's amazing the response from you guys. On another forum that i post on, the response to the queen mother's death went along the lines of "rot in hell" and quickly descended into an argument on the subject of the royal family's uses. But yes, she did live a long and fruitful life, and i wish her peace in death.
