I am 19 years of age and my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 and a half years now. He respects me as I do him and we love each other deeply. We did not intend to wait this long to have sex, this is just how its worked out. We've recently been trying to have sex now but the problem is always the same: he cant get all the way in me. Its about halfway. It feels like hes hitting a wall and there's an intense burning pain.
My boyfriend has a curved penis. I've read that this is normal, however, his is curved upward, toward his belly button which makes it even more difficult for him to penetrate me. Im just looking for some advice on how to deal with this, we are both virgins and we've tried many times now without success. It has gotten to a point that I dont want to try anymore because of such a fear of yet another failed attempt. I lose sleep over this, Im ready now and its driving me CRAZY!!! Thanks in advance.

Here's some things to thing about to start us off with; when you engage in sex, are you feeling very aroused? Are you taking lots of time to do the other kinds of sex that you really love to do? Are you using plenty of extra lubricant from a bottle or a tube? Also, when we frame sex in our minds as something we can fail or win at, we tend to put ourselves and our bodies under a lot of pressure, which means we may not be able to become aroused as much as we usually would. When we're fully aroused; our vaginas extend and become much more flexible, and the muscle become so that they almost seem to 'pull' things inside. When we're not so relaxed and aroused, the our vulvas tend to stay ridgid - whether it's the first time we're engaging in sex our the thousandth time. Does that make sense? If you'd like to take a look at this article: , that might be a good starting point for us too. From Ow to Wow [ 03-25-2012, 03:33 PM: Message edited by: Saffron Reimi ]

I'm 49/female. Recently started new relationship and have attempted sexual intercourse twice - each time unsuccessful in penetrating me. I looked online for possible issues/answers and found your post (which is why I'm responding). He too has a curved penis but he says he was able to have intercourse with his last partner.... So now I have to wonder if the issue is with me, or perhaps still because of his curvature (up towards belly and larger/fuller at top). WOW.....

Bleu: two times isn't a lot.
But in those two times, you both tried a range of different positions and angles? And you were also very aroused and lubricated and wanting vaginal intercourse?
