I have been taking the birth control pill for 4 months and I have recently noticed that my right breast is larger than my left, this was never the case before. Is this normal of is something wrong? I have tried to see if I have a lump but I dont think I do. Please help if you can

It's quite common for women to have one breast that's noticibly larger than the other, particularly during puberty. Sometimes they'll even up, sometimes they'll stay different sizes, and there's really no way to predict how they'll end up. If you're concerned about it, though, do see a doctor, okay? Kyth

You're right, it likely isn't.However, oral contraceptives are hormonal, and thus, adding new levels of hormones to your system, so it is highly common for those hromones to affect the breasts, your weight, your skin, and a host of other factors.
Most effects of the pill cease when you stop taking it, so talk to your doctor if this is really bothering you.

Birth control pills often increase breast size (estrogen and progesterone), so one of your breasts probably just became a bit larger than the other during this time of growth.

I know that these pills affect the hormone levels, so your body will change.. but are these permanent changes, or will everything go back to its original state when you stop taking pills??maybe this is the totally wrong reason to for me to take pills, but I was thinking that maybe I could take them to increase breast size? I know thast a big topic on these boards, but I'm still self-conscious about things like that. I was talking with a girl friend yesterday, and she said she heard from her doctor that people take them for different reasons. I'm still a virgin and i do not intend on having sex anytime soon, but all I want the pills for is to increase breast size.

precious soul - i really don't think the pill is recommended as a means of increasing breast size, because that's not what it's designed for. i'm on the pill, and my breasts have -not- grown, in fact, they are rather more tender than usual, particularly around my period. there's very little you can do to increase breast size [i'm an AA/A cup, so i expect i know what you're feeling], except implants [no no no] and putting on a lot of weight, which i doubt you want to do. One of the things you'll see alot around Scarleteen is people saying you have to learn to love your body, and you do. i'm not quite there yet with mine, but i'm getting there. think about all the positive aspects of small breasts - they won't get saggy for years, you don't -have- to wear a bra. etc etc. stereotypes frequently say women should have large busts, but nature doesn't work that way for everyone. Perhaps if you went on the pill your breast size would increase, but there's not guarantee at all. if, however, your period is an absolute nightmare [mine was] and you're going to be sexually active, go for it, and maybe you'll get a lil bust increase too. but i wouldn't recommend doing it for the last reason alone..-pandora xxo

I don't know if this is true in your case, but might your breasts have become more visibly different sized because they've become a bit bigger? Sice putting on some weight, I've noticed that the difference in my breast size is a bit more visible.------------------ Why scream and cry when you know it's true? Why fall in love when there's better things to do?
