First of all, thanks so much for your sight. It really has been reassuring and helpful. I would just like to ask this question and get a straight forward answer once and for all. Two days ago, I gave my boyfriend a blow job and he came. He came on his shirt (idk how it happened) and then we stood up and cuddled for about ten or fifteen minutes. Neither of us were naked. Then, he fingered me (putting his hands in my shorts and panties). Normally I would not be so worried, but I remembered this is around the time that I am supposed to be ovulating. Am I worrying over nothing? I have done research and most things on the Internet scare me more than help me. I have already read the articles about when you are at risk and when you're not, but I am still scared out of my mind and haven't been able to eat or sleep because of it. I am supposed to go on vacation in 3 days and I don't want this to ruin it for me. Please help! Thanks in advance PS - I realize I spelled "site" wrong at the top but my iPod won't let me go back and change it

Also, I know for sure I am ovulating cause it's the right time of month and also my pee was cloudy and there has been white discharge.

Fertile mucus is actually clear and thin rather than white, and the appearance of urine is unrelated to fertility (different body system). Like you read, what occurred here was not something that poses pregnancy risks.

Okay thank you! One last question (sorry), I read that if you have cervical mucous (i think that's what it is called) can allow sperm to swim in your vagina and impregnate an ovulating woman... I think his fingers were dry, but would ten minutes be enough for the sperm to be dead? I don't think there was much on his fingers of any. I'm just overly paranoid and became even more so when I realized it was time for ovulation. Thanks again so much!!!!

Also, I hate harping on about this, but does it matter that it was cum and not precum?

No, not in a situation like this, it does not. Like those pieces you read explained, this isn't just about an amount of time, but about a lack of direct contact. But how about you do you both a favor for next time and simply ask that he washes his hands before contact with your vulva, including after any contact with his penis? That's a smart move to avoid bacterial infections and UTIs anyway.
