Sorry yet another condom question. We used lube although it may have been too much because during a certain position the condom slipped up quite a bit, maybe halfway? We just slipped it back down and continued. Would that pose a risk? he hadn't ejaculated prior to it although there was white stuff in the condom

As long as the condom did not slip off entirely, that's not considered a condom failure, so the risk of pregnancy is very low. (It's not ever going to be zero, but you can consider that the condom was still effective.)

thank you! if he did ejaculate prior to this happening would the risk increase? Im only asking just in case he did ejaculate, the white stuff in the condom. but that probably would have just been lube huh

Regardless of whether he had ejaculated or not, the condom did not slip all the way off, so the risk remains the same. And yes, it's very possible that what you saw in the condom was lube.

in the future would just rolling the condom back down be the right thing to do?

ejaculate generally stays in the tip when the penis isn't flaccid right so the white stuff I did see on his penis on the area where the condom had ridden up would have been lubr im assuming?

Yes, rolling it back down would be the best idea, that way it won't slip off entirely. It could have been lube, or your own fluids from your vulva. You're right; ejaculate does stay in the tip of the condom, it can only go into the little space for it at the tip. Condoms are made to be fit the penis perfectly with no room for ejaculate to slip down.

I have another question if thats ok. When the condom rode up all the extra material of the condom rolled up too just hanging off the top. We just rolled it all back down again. Im assuming because the condom didnt come off all the way that the extra material of the condom coming off doesnt affect the effectiveness of it whatsoever right? Does the ejaculate only stay in that little bubble at the top? If Im on top and Im getting off while holding the base of the condom, the ejaculate usually doesnt stay in the tip itself, kinda more like the head of the penis. Its ok to just roll it back down and continue to have sex. A new condom isnt needed since it hadnt come off?

Ask away, it's what we're here for. Nope, that doesn't affect its effectiveness, and another condom isn't needed. However if it's just something that helps you feel 100% secure, it can't hurt to get a new one. When condoms are used perfectly, they have no chance of slipping off completely or breaking, and the ejaculate should be in the tip. However, some condoms have a tiny amount of space around the bubble at the end for semen to go into as well. It's always a good plan to pinch the end as the condom is rolled onto the penis and make sure there are no air bubbles to ensure they have minimal chance of breaking or slipping. Here's a link with some info if you'd like to check it out: http://www.scarleteen.com/article/boyfriend/condom_basics_a_users_manual After your partner has ejeculated into the condom, it is a good idea to withdraw the penis from you vulva and use a new condom, to minimize any chance of you coming into contact with the ejaculate. Yes, as long as it didn't come off completely there's no reason to be concerned.
