Hi guys, well basically to get straight to the point, this past sunday my boyfriend and I had sex multiple times. the first 2 times he wore a condom but the 3rd and final time he did not because we ran out. it was stupid i know, but whats done is done. he didnt ejaculate inside of me, he pulled out ahead of time but I know theirs still a risk of pregnancy. then yesterday (wednesday) I started experiencing what I learned to be called "spotting" i believe. basically i was having a very light period with dark, almost brownish colored blood. the flow is light and didnt speed up or get any heavier, just light flow and dark blood. now today im still "spotting" but its gotten a little heavier, more is coming out and it is still the dark brownish color. I did some research on "Implantation bleeding" but from what I read that usually occurs 6-10 days after the egg becomes fertilized i assume, and for me i started spotting about 2 days and a half, 3 days since I had sex on Sunday. I also read that Implantation bleeding usually occurs right around the same time a woman has her normal period (is this correct?). So in my case I was wondering if this was just a natural release of old blood from my last period, perhaps caused by the suction created during sex, or could this be implantation bleeding?
if it helps, my last period started on June 28th and ended right in early July, not sure exact date, but like around July 4th more or less. today is the 17th so I am not supposed to be getting my period for more or less another week. also, I have heard of women that bleed sometimes in between periods, almost like a warning that the real period is about to come but that has never happened to me before. so if thats the case, this would be the first time and im 21 years old. can anybody help calm my nerves down please? i greatly appreciate any and every replies I recieve. Thank you. and also, can someone desribe the differences between normal spotting between periods and implantation period, as in, color, time of when it happens, duration, do they start light and get heavy or vice versa? any info like that would be very helpful to calm my nerves down. Thank you all.

Spotting is going to be very, very light, and generally won't be confused with a period. Sometimes it's not even noticeable. If it's getting heavier, it probably isn't spotting.
At this point, I would recommend picking up a pregnancy test. Those are accurate 7-10 days after your risk, and will answer the question without a doubt.
