And now there are two consecutive posts by me.....sorry Um...again don't really know where to start I mean...I guess I don't nessacarily feel trapped in my body I do shave though I have fortunately never been a manly looking guy Sometimes I feel uncomfortable But then again I guess I don't really mind having a....thing I mean I already have a hole...for stuff And I'm unsure what an actual surgery thing would be like...and I don't think I would like it (I feel like such a perv talking about this stuff) Anyway...like I said I have for fun been looking up all this stuff to do with estrogen weather it has to do with shots or pills....I'm not really sure but how it can make your skin softer and displace fat around the body to give you more of a feminine figure....and all those things really attract me and I think would make me feel more comfortable My question is are there other things this estrogen stuff can do? And if I do eventually decide to go to a doctor or who ever about this one day do if I start doing it have to go through with a whole sex change operation thing? Again sorry for taking up so much space

There's nothing perverse about talking about feeling about your body parts of gender. No worries. No need to apologize for taking up space, either: this space is here for you to use as you need it! But it sounds like a lot of the questions you have are the questions best asked of a therapist who specializes in, and is educated in, trans gender patient care. That's really the best kind of person to sit with you, talk about how you're feeling, and talk about long-term, in-the-future options like hormonal therapy or sexual reassignment surgery. I say that because those options aren't things people can just do immediately. There are healthcare protocols with all of this, and steps a person has to take to even get to the point where those are options for them, and any of that involves starting with therapy. If hormonal therapy or sexual reassignment surgeries are things you're thinking about, that says to me that you'd likely benefit from at least having a consult with a therapist who works in this area. Do you want to have us look into options for that for you?

Um....I don't know...I guess that's not nessacarily right now, thank you....I'm just trying to get my feelings straight And the idea of seeing a therapist of any kinda has always freaked me out I'm not one to just talk about things like that and I wouldn't be doing the therapist any favors ....I'll just keep browsing I guess...thank you

It's understandable that the idea of seeing a therapist makes you uncomfortable; a lot of people shy away from the idea of spilling their guts to someone they don't know. One thing to think about though is that putting everything on the table right away within the first five minutes of the first appointment isn't really expected. It takes time to build up a relationship and trust with a therapist, just like it takes time with any other kind of relationship. It's completely up to you, but if you ever do feel like you'd benefit from talking to a therapist who specializes in this area, we're more than happy to help you find one.
