One extra note, since I just found this today: Nearly ALL women's clinics in Washington State offer not only free birth control, of every type, to those who are uninsured, but basic pelvic exams AND STI screens and treatment via the Take Charge program referenced at the bottom of that Planned Parenthood page: http://fortress.wa.gov/dshs/maa/familyplan/TCclientservices.htm And the application is on a honor-system, so you do NOT need to worry about having tax records or any of that stuff. Good to know if there isn't a PP near you, or you prefer to use an independent clinic (and there are a whole heaping lot of them in WA).

I'd also like to add that they have a free family planning program available in Minnesota.http://www.ppmns.org/site/pp.asp?c=gwKTJaN0JyF&b=2116925

(How odd that they don't seem to offer any barrier methods of birth control, only hormonal methods and sterilization. Am I missing something on that page?)
