Sorry if this sounds patronising it's just I've gone through a lot of complex stuff around eating and ethics (WRT both human rights and animal rights), and I empathise. And yeah, I agree with you both, that ad is sexist. Plus I think "vegans make better lovers" is seriously ironic coming from them (PETA, not vegans in general), because part of being a good lover is empathy and compassion for your partner, and they come from a place that's all about prejudice and shaming when it comes to humans, so...
