No matter what, there is AT LEAST one thing beautiful about someone. There is no body type that is "perfect" and that everyone agrees is beautiful. What is your body type, and how is it beautiful to you? What do your like about it? Oh, I'll do mine just to get the ball rolling. Short brown hair and dark dark brown eyes, I'm cute! But not too cute, just enough to look innocent but you can tell i have a bad side My body, well, it could be more ripped, but i got enough curves to look cute in alot of clothes. One word that would never describe me is "sexy", but i dont care. I've been called hot and cute, i like that better.

This is a cute thread! Good for you for thinking of it. Specifically appropriate to me because, being a big girl, I've always had a hard time finding good things about my body. I've been doing a lot of thinking about that lately -- how to like myself aesthetically BEFORE I'm at my target weight.Things I'm proud of: - rock hard calves - great eyes / smile - great hair

I agree this topic is really fun but to bad we don't think of stuff like this more often.I gotta say I love my crazy and curly blond/brown hair and big blue eyes. But my trademark is what i like best -- a cardigan, old-school converses and my ultra nerdy glasses- it's so me. I guess I say this because I have no control over how I look but what I wear is an extension of my personality.

I love my shoulders and my biceps which are rather large for a girl. I also quite like my eyes, a real eerie blue, kinda freaky. But they are so expressive. And my back, esp lower, I like the way it curves.

Hmm, I like my body and all, but it's always hard to think of something that I truly love about it, but one thing I like are my breasts.I like them because I think they are the perfect size (for me).
another thing I like [sometimes] is my hair. Sometimes I'm having a great hair day, and I'm thinkin I'm looking so hot, but then sometimes it looks so flat and boring that I simple cannot stand it!
I also like my tummy! It's a litte flabby, but its so cute, and my Boyfriend loves it too! hehe
But yea, those are the 3 things I like about my body, and the one thing that I truly hate are my UGLY FEET!! I hate feet!!

What do I like about my body? My masculinity. I like being well muscled. I have worked my traps pretty damn hard, and now look very well preportioned. (used to have a giraff neck) I like that all my muscles are kinda big for my size and age. I like being buff. I work out 6 times a week, thoroughly enjoy weightlifting, and definately like the results as well.

I really like my eyes. I was told today that I have "bedroom eyes". I have been told this before, but never by someone so.... hot. lol
They are big, and bright green with flecks of gold in them, and I have long, thick, black eyelashes.
That's probably my only good feature, but I'm just happy that I have one feature I like.
This thread was a good idea!

Great topic . I think I've had a love and hate relationship with my body since my early adolescent years, but it's always good to be able to find wonderful features that distinguish us from others and that we are proud of.I love my shoulders after I've spent some time lifting those little dumbell weights, my small feet, my slender wrists and long fingers with strong and thick nails. The way my jaw bone is shaped -- even though my face is wider than most, I think my jaw line is great, the skin around it is very taut with nothing hanging -- the love of my life has a lil' extra chin, but it looks wonderful under his face.

Good topic! I like my eyes (usually), my flat stomach , my arms, my lack of a double chin. I'd like to have bigger breasts, slimmer calves, and a tighter butt.

I'm a skinny pear-shape, and I've recently started to love some parts of it- like knowing now that my hips have grown I'm less afraid that pregnacy will hurt me (I used to be twig), and I *like* my butt. Call me silly, but I do. And I love my eyes, and the little curve between the bottom of my ribs and my hipbones.

I like almost everything about my body. I like my big, straight german nose, which I got from my mother. It sets me apart from the american beauty ideal of a small, curved nose, and it shows off my heritage. I like the half-inch scar above my lips, a mark left over from a cat when I was 7. To me, it shows character and strength. And who knows, maybe it makes me look a little tough, like I can handle my own and I don't take crap from others. (I just won't tell those others that it's from a cat. ) I like how most of my body is small: small hands, small waist, small shoulders, small feet, small ears, small height, small everything. It hides my fierce nature. I like that my breasts are C-cups, and not a size that would be unmanageable for my body size. (Plus when I spill food on myself, my breasts usually catch it. Sometimes good, sometimes bad.) I like my big butt. So many people hate that they have a big butt. I say embrace it, love it, and be happy that no matter where you sit, you always have a cushion.

I've got a strange kind of dysmorphia, in that I don't believe my reflection in the mirror. That said, I've heard a lot of good things about my eyes. They're a brown so dark you can only tell that they aren't black when the light hits them just right. I also rather like my hair. It's longer than anybody else's in my family, even my mother's. She hates it. Of course, she would only be content if I shaved my head bald. You could say I like my hair because it bugs my mother. Finally, I rather like my thighs. They're the only really toned muscles in my body. If only I didn't have my *** on top of them, they'd be perfect. Did I mention they're the only toned muscle in my body? I also rather enjoy being more flexible than most of the people I know of my gender. The faces they make when I contort myself to get comfortable are hi-larious.

what i really like about myself is a pretty short list. i generally dislike most of my body but when i think about it, i actually think i have a kind of pretty face. My eyes are a green-hazel colour that when i wear mascara are nicely framed by long, dark eye lashes, and i have little freckles across the bridge of my nose and top of my cheeks that you can only really see close up. my face is round, and though i dont have the perfect skin or even skin tone, its fairly clear most of the time.and my hair is feathered to frame my face with a side parting that compliments my face shape. So, despite hating the gap in my front teeth, and really hating my body... i think i have a fairly pretty face. (now i feel like i've been too nice to myself) [ 06-15-2007, 04:52 PM: Message edited by: guiltyangel210 ]

Well, I really, really love my eyes, even though they scare people. LOL. They are literally every color. Near the pupils they are brown, the middle is green-blue, and they are ringed in black-brown. They aren't hazel. They're different than hazel. I guess I'm what you get when you mix striking blue eyes (Mom) and dark hazel eyes (Dad). Also, I have a mole on the left side of my face next to my nose, which I am very proud of. It makes me different, and I love it!!! (I have no plans on getting it removed, since it's not very big and has never changed in any way, shape, or form.)

I love my waist--or rather, I love how defined my hips are (but you wouldn't know that if my waist wasn't there). I love my breasts (most of the time), because they're small A-cups and extreamely conducive to moshing. I love my long, pale neck, because without it I couldn't pull off weaing a large collar every day. I love my eyes, because people have paused while speaking to me because of their blue-ness. I love that people tell me I have 'artist's hands', even though I'll probably end up with carpel tunnel sydrome because of my tiny wrists. Most of all, I think, I love my short, curly, bright green hair.

I must ask, Cherokee, I've heard the term "bedroom eyes" but I don't know what it means! I used to have a bad physical self-esteem, but I now have built it up. In fact, the only thing that I don't like about me is my acne, but that is clearing up, and I love everything else. I am short and thin, but still voluptuous; big, brown eyes; healthy brown, naturally curly hair; and best of all, glasses. I'm not what one would call "hot", but, as I've always said, I've got substance! All of my features are best set off buy the fact that my eyes can radiate wisdom and serenity. I'm too skinny! Although a lot of people say I'm lucky.... oh well. I love my eyes. They change color according to my mood. If I'm angry, they're dark green. If I'm happy, they're deep blue, and if I'm sad they are this cloudy grey color. I love my hands. My fingers are long and slender and agile and it's really helpful to have long fingers when playing the guitar. I dunno why, but I like my butt! I don't have a big butt, because I'm so skinny, but I still like it. And I like my boobs, lol, even though they're really small... I don't live with the point of view that Big Boobs = Beautiful. I like my tummy and my bellybutton. I'm tall and skinny, with short reddy blonde hair that kind of sticks up everywhere. I really like my hair. I have braces right now, but I will be getting them off soon (WOOOOT) so I think I like my teeth. A girl at school said I have a big nose and fish lips, but I take that as a compliment. I like my lips, and I LIKE my big nose. I dunno why, I just really like my face. Jeez, people always say I'm full of myself, but I'm not, really! I just like myself. I don't think I'm beautiful but I think I might be pretty. Maybe. Is it okay to like my body just the way it is?

I think being "full of yourself" (with regards to looks especially) is good sometimes. The media tries to make us feel insecure about everything 24/7 so why shouldn't we try to feel really good about ourselves and our bodies? [ 07-05-2007, 11:58 AM: Message edited by: orca ]

Face: -I like the contrast of my dark hair/eyes against a lighter face -I guess my lips are alright. ^^ -I wish my nose were a bit smaller Body: -Sometimes I wish I had bigger boobs (not that uncommon lol), partly cause I'm flat as a dang ironing board... partly so clothes will actually FIT me lol most clothes in teen aisels DON'T because of that. -I wish I were a bit thinner... YES I'm really skinny, but I miss being emo skinny cause SERIOUSLY it looked better on me -I miss having over-sized feet for my height... it made me feel all like cartoony, but now my feet are in proportion to me. -I HATE my shoulders... my sister calls em manly, and they make finding certain clothes a bother, cause it stretches them out all like funny. >.<;;;;; Hair: -I'm going to get it cut REALLY short this Saturday, but everyone likes it how it is.... -It used to be REALLY really straight, and now it's wavy, I don't like that. Ehh.. guess that's me. lol.

I personally don't think that any part of my body could be considered "beautiful", but I've had many people tell me that they like my hands - especially men. They say that they like the way that they're slender without being boney and filled-out without being pudgey and that they like how they're not short like a little kid's but not really long like some sort of vampire, haha. Guys seem to especially like how I have a bunch of little scars all over my hands (it's the price I pay for constantly working with my hands). I've always been worried that the scars would turn people off from me because it definitely makes them not look like the typical dainty hands of a female, but apparently not. Plus my b/f is a chef so his hands have tons of scars on them and my own scars make me feel like a match to him, and I like that, hehe. As for what I personally like...my eye color I guess. I've always thought of dark brown/black eyes as being really seductive and mysterious and what have you when I write my books and thus give the quietest and most introverted characters black/brown eyes, but it actually took me a while to realize that I myself had that same color XD
