Hi, I'm F/24/Los Angeles, CA. I'm an epidemiologist at the health department. I've been on ST for about 5 years, started out like everyone else and worked my way up. I have a thread in Village People, check it out
LA County STD Hotline 1.800.758.0880 Toll free STD and clinic information, and condoms sent to your door for Los Angeles County residents.
1 in 3 sexually active people will be exposed to a STD by the time they turn 24.

I'm 21/F/Ontario, Canada. I'm a nursing student ... I hope to graduate w/ my Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing (BScN) in June of 2006. If i'm successful, i'll write the Canadian Registered Nursing Exam (CRNE) sometime in June, and (if i pass!) then i'll be a licensed RN
I've also been around for about five years, and just became a Sexpert for Scarleteen about a month ago.

I'm 59/M/Ontario, Canada (I think that makes me Scarleteen's resident geezer). Work at a call centre. Was asked to moderate Parents, Adults and Teens because I have parented a teenager.
I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.

20/F/Washington State. I've been browsing this here website for a very long time. Since the beginning, I wager.
I'm currently working as a writing consultant at my University, and I'll have my BA in December.
(apparently I'm so anxious for my birthday, that I aged myself a year. Do'h!)

I feel so young....
'Lo, I'm 17/F/Vermont. Currently a high school senior, but I'm looking at BU, UVM, UNC, and a couple other colleges at the moment. I work @ Shelburne Farms here in Vermont as a groundskeeper and Children's Farmyard staff member.
I've been stalking these boards for about a year and a half or so, recently promoted to Advocate.
Help yourself by helping the world It's a pretty good day, I'm looking for tomorrow; I had a pretty good day, yeah, I had a good day

Hi, I'm Jill. 21/F/Irons, MI. I just went back to college after dropping out for two years. I cook at a bar and live very, very close to my family. I ski as much as possible and I kayak more and more every summer.

Oops, forgot I hadn't done this yet!
I'm Jean, 18, female, and reside in New Mexico. I graduated High School this past Spring and have no current college plans other than that I intend to go at somepoint. I am currently working more than part time but less than full time and bumming around my small town until January, at which time I will be leaving to live in Wellington, New Zealand for a year, just for the heck of it.

(Sorry, somehow I missed this.)
Regardless, there's all too much about me all over the web. But the basics pertinent to Scarleteen, and some more information about this site itself, are here:

24/F residing somewhere between the midwest/south. I'm currently pursuing a Ph.D. In addition to my coursework, I am also an instructor at the university. In the past, I've worked in a variety of health care settings. I love the Food Network and Law & Order and knitting.

20, female, Canada. I 've been here for about four years, but lately been laying pretty low because the older you get the busier life gets.
I'm a university student doing a double major, both 4 year BA's in Sociology and Women's Studies. I also work in a Women's Resource Centre. I work phones and my job is to expand and organize resources and update pretty much everything by next June.
