I read the pregnancy article and the FAQ on this board. However I am not sure about my actual situation. My girlfriend and I were fooling around and I wasn't wearing my underwear but she was. There was mock penetration such as me pushing my penis against her cotton underwear. I know I had pre-ejaculate but Iejac did not ejaculate. What are the chances of pregnancy especially if my girlfriend changed her underwear right after and dried herself? We have done this for about 2 years since we don't want to have sex until marriage but I always seem to worry afterwards.

Pretty much none. But I do think it perhaps would be sound, given your worries, to talk about the idea that this isn't sex. Often when people don't "count" kinds of sex like this as sex, they're more likely to wind up where they ARE soon or currently taking risks, physical or emotional, they don't want to or don't feel good about.

Thank you. The reason for the worry is because our fluids mix and that alwats worries me. Also, she has not gotten her period yet which she should h ave. This always ends up happening when I worry. When I don't worry she has them regularly but when I do worry she always comes late. She never knows about my worries though.

I'm not sure I understand how your genitals fluids would be mixing. As I understand it, some clothing is being worn here and you're not ejaculating. pre-ejaculate is just a teeny bit of fluid, not enough to get through clothing.

What I meant was her underwear is usually wet also which is the result of her getting wet.

Well, if we're taking about underpants getting sodden with fluids, possibly shared fluids, then it seems to me it's time for you two to talk about, and start learning how to use, condoms, okay?

Yeah I've figured that for a while now. Still, what are the chances of pregnancy?

Like I said, from the unique situation you're describing here, where you didn't ejaculate and she was wearing underwear, it's sounding like pretty much none to me. Do you need any help talking with her about condoms, about this kind of sex you're having being a kind of sex, and how you both need to make sure you're treating it that way, etc?

Pregnancy is extremely unlikely in this scenario. However, as you've been talking about with Heather, you're getting into the kinds of sex where using a condom would be a healthy thing to do for both you and your girlfriend. At this point it isn't terribly useful to talk about how likely a pregnancy is, and more useful to plan for the future. If your girlfriend is concerned, she can certainly take a pregnancy but mind, that is up to her. There are lots of reasons why your girlfriend's period could be late. Do you know if her periods usually come after the same number of days each month? It's not at all uncommon for a period to be a few days late. [ 03-13-2012, 12:57 PM: Message edited by: Robin Lee ]

No I'm good I can always talk to her we just never found it necessary since we never saw any risk involved from frequently doing it.

Something that can be really helpful when it comes to being prepared well around sex is to figure it's wise to be prepared for things which are one or two steps further down the line -- however you may see that line -- from what we're doing now. So, for instance, if you've gotten to the point where the only real difference between what you're doing and intercourse is one pair of undies (and it sounds like you have), then it makes sense to talk about and prepare for intercourse and what you need for that when it comes to managing it, including any risks you want to reduce. Know what I mean?

Welll she had symptoms a few days ago and now they have stopped altogether from what she can tell. She has been stressed recently since she started a new job but I don't if she is really as stressed as I think she is. She usually has gotten her period under more stressful circumstances. Usually her period varies from regular to irregular.
