Hello:)
Ive always had problems with my period because of my weight. For about half a year, i did not have a period. Then About 4 months ago, I was prescribed birth control to help induce my period. It worked magnificently and I felt way better.
On the first week of june, I had my first sexual encounter with my boyfriend. I had been taking my pills every day at the same time as instructed. As well, my boyfriend used a condom. Here's were it is embarrassing, it only lasted a few seconds because once I felt the pressure, I got scared and pushed him away. Anyways, I got my period th next week & then my pills ended.
The thing is it was only prescribed for 3 months. It has been a month since I stopped taking them & my period has not come again. I think It is my irregular period acting up again or an effect from stopping the pill. Can anyone relate to this or give me some information about reactions to stopping the pill. Like symptoms. Or is there any possibliblity of a pregnancy?
Also has anybody else experienced this? Thanks!

It can be an effect of stopping the pill to have irregular periods and spotting in between periods for a few cycles afterwards. Because you did have a withdrawal bleed after your last sexual encounter, you would not be pregnant from that. Did you have sex again after that period? Now that you have stopped the pill, what are your plans for birthcontrol in the future?

Oh okay! this puts my mind to ease A LOT! Thank you very much! And no I have not had sex after that one time and I don't plan to have sex until I feel ready again.
Well I would like to go on the birth control pills again because they helped my menstrual cycle be pretty regular. I also think this is a great safety net in case I ever feel like I'm ready to have sex with my boyfriend
Is there any other effects from stopping the pill?
once again, thanks for the advice I really appreciate it [Smile]
