Hi all! I finally got my mom to schedule a pap-smear for me. I've been wanting to get examined wayyyy before I met my current boyfriend and wayyyy before we started having manual sex. He's the only person, well besides myself, that I've had manual sex with. And yes, we used condoms while doing so. I don't really know why I wanted an exam, I just felt like I should have myself checked.

So my question is, what should I expect at an exam? I'm kind of nervous. And my second question is, as long as my bf and I used condoms during manual sex, we both should be safe and fine right? If anything was wrong, we would be having side effects of some sort right? Good news, I don't have any problems and he doesn't either.

Ah okay. So I see that since I'm not sexually active, I may not have to get the speculum exam. My bf and I haven't had any form of sexual intercourse (anal, oral, or vaginal), but even though I'm not sexually active, can I still request to get that exam?

I guess I'm just really nervous. I mean I wanted to get this exam but I'm really nervous now.
