There's a woman who works with me at my job. She just confessed to my boss that she was still doing herroine (sp?)...
They told her if she didn't give a clean urine test by next friday that she was going to lose her job!
Everyone found out and now ppl are talking about her and they all think she is weird.
She needs some kind of support. I always talk to her and I told her I'd be there for her in anyway she needed me to be there. She said she was going to " drug detox" herself on her days off ( since she has 2 off in a row)She wants me to be there with her. She said it's a really bad process and that she is scared to do it . What can I do to help her? What am I supposed to be expecting? What can I do to make her feel supported! She claims to be serious about doing this because her job is so important to her. Another girl I work with used to be a drug and alcohol councelor so she asked her to come over for the "detox" too. What should I do? What advice do you have for me???? Basically if we don't help her no one else will, because she would have to miss to much work and my job isn't giving her the chance...

Sometimes the only thing we can do is accept what we have no control over.
