Hi, I'm honestly not sure where this should go...so I kind of just picked a forum that sounded about right- if it belongs somewhere else, please feel free to move it.I heard a "rumor", i guess, from a girl I work with that another girl from our former High school had passed away last week. I wasnt close friends with this girl, but I did know her pretty well for a school aquaintance. Anyway, I was away last week so, I came home from work today and tried to look online through the obituaries...and there was absolutely nothing in the local papers online, and my dad said he didnt recognize the name from reading the papers at all.
Another rumor I heard, was that she was Muslim. So, out of pure curiosity, i was just wondering if maybe it is part of the muslim religion that a death not be publicly announced?
I was just curious if the reason why i cant find any information on her death is because of her family's religious beliefs....or if someone is trying to play some really bad joke..
(I do understand it is a family's choice whether or not to announce the death and funeral services publicly-- but, i was just curious to learn something new, if in fact there is something new to learn!)
