I'm 18 and i really want to buy a vibrator but I would feel way to embarrassed to go into a sextoy store and buy anything.
Does anyone else have this problem?

I have a friend that i know wouldn't mind going for me but she doesn't know that I am even into masterbation and all that. . . (I'm a virgin and never had a boyfriend and have had this act going that I'm super innocent. . .)

Adrian isn't my real name. It's like an alter ego name, but one I use to express the full inner me :)

Can I ask what kind of store you're looking into?

Many states right now have very mellow, nonconfrontational and non-cheesy women's sex toy shops. They tend to be independently owned (which is awesome, politically-speaking), and earnestly intended to make buyers who might otherwise feel skittish feel comfortable.

Going into a women-owned toy shop tends to be a radically different experience than you might have at other shops.

As for the embarrassment, don't worry about it, many people feel embarrassed I'm sure. I sure did when I bought my first toy.
Other thing, if you really don't want to go to a store, is looking to buy online. Many companies, at least over here, will ship your goods under a different name without an explicit description of the item inside, so no one will know any better what you've bought and from where.

Not that there's anything to be embarrassed about going into a sex toy shop, especially if you find a good one. [Smile]
