I am 21 years old and I am always depressed most of the time. It comes and goes. I have tried seeing psychologists and all, but nothing seems to work. I am really down about how I look. I love exercise adn workout, but it seems that since i am depressed I feel like I don't want to do that anymore. I am a size 16 and I think that I am too big for my age. I lost almost over 100lbs in the last year, but now seem to be gaining since depressed. I always feel like people laugh at me since I am no thin and model looking. Does anyone have any suggestions what I should do.

Depression (from the Support Groups FAQ) ~

yours is pretty common topic, so here are some relevant links. Also, if you use the search tool, search all forums for keyword "depression" and i guarantee, you will be deluged with threads.

Also check out this thread form links to things to do to deal with depression and stress

Do you have access to a counselor? If you are a college student, you probably do have counseling available on campus. if not, you might need to search a little harder. but the thing is, nothing beats sitting down with an concerned ear and talking through things.
