Thisguy, I replied to your topic on "Cool sites" before I realized it was in the Men's Room. I hope I deleted my post there before anyone noticed. ;[

But I thought I would post the same topic here, so that we all can reply to it.

Here's my reply:

<suck up>Great sites on the web besides Scarleteen?</suck up>

Again, I'm sorry! I would never post in the Mens Room!

Umm, about that BMEzine site, well, I think it was just a bit inappropriate... I dunno, but something about a naked woman with her vagina in view and a man sticking his penis in her, well, thats just inappropriate methinks.

Ashchris, I know that site and I know that that would not have been on the front page. You would either have had to subscribe or go actively looking for something like that.

However, in light of the fact that some of its contents may be disturbing to some readers, the URL has been cut.

I'm confused. What's The Men's Room? I don't see it on the board main page. Is there a secret password I have to know? (I just know this is something really obvious I'm gonna be kicking myself for asking about)

ObSites: Orisinal.com painfully addictive flash games.
Supersnail brilliant portrait photography.

Hey Vinnie,
long ago, before you joined the boards, there were other rooms, rooms that are now lost. Two of these rooms were "The Men's Room" and "The Ladies Room". Males to the men's room, female's to the ladies room. When this post was originally created, all those months ago, these two ancient rooms existed...alas, no longer.

Hope i cleared that up for you!

This site is pretty fun. It's a huge list of movies (and accompanying movie files that you can view) from the early days of moving pictures up until the 1970s or so. They're mostly the sorts of "educational" films that used to get shown in (mostly American) classrooms.

On the list is the classic nuclear attack prepared-ness film "Duck and Cover". There are also several that deal with dating, puberty and other aspects of sex education. They're all pretty funny, and a few of them are surprisingly forthrght for their day.

Great link, Dzuunmod, and the rest of the archive.org site is worth a look, too. You can see web pages as they were several years ago -- including old Scarleteen.

I think my favourite movie title is 'Meats With Approval'. Nothing says good nutrition like slightly disturbing puns!

There is no Mens Room or Ladies Room at Scarleteen anymore. They were deleted. The forums you see now are the only forums we have, there are no secret forums or anything like that.
