Hey, I've recently been thinking about taking some nude photos of myself so I can give them to someone I know very closely. The only thing I'm worried about is that when I get the photos developed, something will happen to them.

So, how many have you done the same for yourself or others? Has anything bad happened? Please tell your stories!

If you are under 18, whoever took them could get in big trouble. I would suggest you get a polaroid.

Oh yeah, I never really thought of that. I'm thinking more along the lines of tripod and timer, you know? I wouldn't go get them done. I would do it myself. That would be ok though, right?

I'd also make sure you trust the person you're giving them to. That would suck horribly if they were to end up on the internet or something.

The guy at the drug store that develops them is not going to know if it was on a timer, and he might feel compelled to report it to the police. While you might avoid being prosecuted since they were of yourself, it would still be pretty embarassing. I still say borrow a polaroid from somebody.

I completely trust the person I'm giving them to. But not the person that's developing them. Thanks. I will definitely find a Polaroid or just forget the whole thing. Thanks.

Even if you completely trust the person you are with...you may still want to be careful. Since you are a minor, your mate may find himself in a sticky situation, since any nuce picture of you would be considered "Indecent Material." Being under the age of majority means that you're legally not able to consent to anything, including taking nude pictures. So while you most likely wouldn't be prosecuted by any District Attorney with a brain, you may get your boyfriend in hot water, since "child porn" cases are always good press. Ridiculous, yes, but unfortunately the law of the land.

Wow, I'm definitely going to think hard about this one. I, or my guy, could get in BIG trouble. I'm going to talk to him about it. I will definitely be careful. Thanks.

I'd absolutely avoid any method that involves commercial development (use a webcam, digital still camera, or art-student friend), as I think it's safe to assume that someone at the developing place WILL copy and keep, or maybe distribute your pictures. ANd keep in mind what Dan said. Sorry.

Boy do i have experience w/ this ...

I was w/ my bf for 6 months before we decided to go ahead and do this. He was one of those people that takes every single photography course offered at school and he was pretty good at it. I was never fully naked ... sort of "creatively naked", as i like to call it, w/ all important parts covered.

Big mistake. The film was never developed ... In fact, i had to b*tch at him over and over to get it back from him, since we broke up just a few days later. I didn't know this was going to happen, obviously, or i never would've done it. So just be very very careful ...

interesting story....a few months before my boyfriend became my boyfriend, we, and a bunch of my friends were hanging out in the band room during lunch.

i had my camera, and we were taking pics of everyone, with lil santa hats on (it was near xmas) silly things and what not.

this one girl had a toy armadillo (from burger king...a toy from a kid's meal from the movie, the road to el dorado), when you pulled it's tail, it vibrated. hahaha...yeah...you know what we all were thinking.

so my friend (the one that became my boyfriend) thought it would be funny to stick it down his pants and out his zipper, as like a fauxpenii. it;s nose sorta looked a lil phallic...and i took a picture...it was all fun and games.

i got the pics developed, but that pic wasn't included. it was in my index print, it came out. the doubles just weren't included.

which leads me to believe, a. some sicko at the photo place took it cos he/she thought it was a real penis. or b. they thought it was a real penis and took it since every other pic invovled a teen and thus would be indecent material.

so yeah...be careful. get a digi camera, and make sure he won't put em on the net, or do it b/w stylee and develop them yourself. i also believe there are developers that do only pictures of this sort....i think you'd have to look around though.

Don't develop them, just get a Polaroid. When my boyfriend was about 13, he had a few shots on the end of a roll and was feeling a little mischievous, so he took a few nude pictures of himself in the mirror. When he got the film developed, the photos weren't in the package. I like to tease him about how the Wal-Mart employees probably had a good laugh at the tall skinny kid...Although I thought that it was kind of weird at first.
