When my boyfriend sleeps over my house every other weekend (yes, my mom allows it..lol), he sleeps on an air mattress right next to my bed. (We're 17, and no we have never had sexual intercourse and do not plan on it until marriage). Well, today when he left, I got in the tub, and when I got out, I went in my room and saw that my mom had moved the air mattress out and put it where we keep it. Well I didn't know that when the mattress was in my room, the box to my set of handcuffs had gotten pushed underneath it. (Me and my bf use em to play around). So I walk in my room, and there is the box..plain in sight. I think my mom saw it when she moved the mattress, but I don't know for sure. Usually she would say something to me (she hasn't), but I don't know if she just feels to awkward to say something. I've made up my mind to get rid of the handcuffs (though I don't know how), but I don't know what to say if she asks me about them. What would you all do??

Well, you could always do what a lot of kids in my neighborhood seem to be doing, and start wearing your handcuffs as a fashion accessory. Loop them from your belt loops, wear 'em as a bracelet. It's very 'gangsta' and very hip, I am told.
Seriously, honey, it's up to you. Either get rid of 'em or not (a dumpster somewhere would be ideal, or give them to a friend). If you don't think your mom's likely to say anything about it, just be a little more discreet. If she does ask, you can always say they were a gag gift. Or that people are starting to wear them as a fashion accessory.
Or you could tell her the truth, I suppose. If she's hip enough to let your boyfriend sleep over, she might be hip enough to hear the truth and not react too badly. You'll have to be the judge of that, though... I don't know your mom.

I heard a slightly similiar story on the TV a while back. This bloke was recounting how he 1nce left out a load of porn mags and forgot to hide them and just went out with his friends. When he got back he found them all neatly tucked away in his room. His mother never said nething tho she obviously had found them. In other words, while ure mom seeing those handcuffs is acutely embarrasing, its not as bad as it seems and she probably understands and is just keeping a respectable silence.

Well, I can proudly say I own a pair of glow-in-the-dark plastic handcuffs a friend and I bought because her younger sister wanted them (nope, not for anything kinky, but this girl could, and would happily, kick Xena's butt), and some red plastic 'love cuffs' I got for my birthday, so to me, gag gift seems the way to go.

My girlfriend had left her vibrator over at my house and my mom saw it while we were talking. My skin is tan and I was redder then ever! It was kinda embarasing but we (me and my mom) laughed at it after awhile.

While I would like to say that I'd explain about them, I don't think I can, in all honesty.
I was a big fan of solo-sex when I was living all alone at home (before college), and a few years ago I fashioned myself a sort of home-made dildo out of pencils and cloth padding inside a latex glove. It even had a little clit stimulator in the thumb hole, although it wasn't quite the right size. Well, one day when I was home alone I'd just had a fine old time with it and washed it off in the sink and set it on the counter to dry, and wouldn't you know, my mom comes home, goes into our bathroom (which she almost NEVER does), and moments later I hear, "What is this THING in the bathroom?" It was a sticky gooey wad of latex and duct tape, and I honestly think she didn't know what it was at first, but she's a bright woman and I imagine she figured it out. I've never been so mortified before or since, and for all my professed belief in being open and honest, the phrase "home made dildo" simply would not leave my lips. I said, "It's just... a.. Thing. Leave it alone!" I retrieved it as soon as I could and didn't leave my room that whole evening.
I did keep it though, for several more months. I just made sure it stayed burried at the bottom of my underwear drawer. I finally dismantled it and discarded the various parts when I left for college, although now I wish I'd kept it so I could show it to my boyfriend!
