I know i already posted this, But no one replaid! So Here it goes again.

The War is on! Where I live (<----- see below name) They resently built a planed parent hood building. THere have been pro-life protesters picketing there for quite awhile now, even before the place was built. NOw they plan to build a Family planning center.. RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!
Is that crazy or what? They finally desided to do this when the first abortion took place a few weeks ago. They have had to increase security around the building, for the saftey of the doctors, voluntres, and the visitors. They shouldn't even need to have security guards at the doors a a planned parenthood, or any place like that. It isn't even close to a bad neighborhood, so they don'y have to worry about anything like that.
Now, don't you think that putting a Family planning center across the street is a bad idea? It is going to scare off people, maybbe more than the protesters do. What are your feelings about that? PLease tell me.

Those who make things happen,
Those who watch things happen,
And those who wonder what happened.
Which one are you??

sweet chick, i'm not really sure what you are asking...are you upset because it will be across the street? (if so, everythings gotta be across the street from something else) as for the protestors, same thing happens here. ot to the extent of security guards needed, but since it is such a soar topic among so many people, i think no matter where you go that's what'll happen. but i know....it stinks to feel unsafe.

WOW i'm a pro-lifer but i would never do anything that would endanger the lifes of others. but as for putting the FPC across the street I think thats a good idea cause that could help maybe open some options to those in need, like open-adoption. I hate it when ppl protest like that I mean theres no need to endanger lives to get a point across.

Yeah, protesters give pro-lifers a bad name. And how pro-life can you be if you're going to endanger someone else's life and their soon-to-be-child's. I mean come on!

The first time I went with someone to a Planned Parenthood, it was located right across the street from a Catholic church.

I couldn't help but giggle. Of course, I didn't have to bring my friend across a picket line to get her birth control and STD tests. (yes, it really was a friend.)

Psst...hey sweet chick! What a fabulous opportunity this could be for you to do some volunteer work, no?

Most clinics appreciate volunteers who aren't guards, who are just sensible, kind people to help moderate situations like that. For all you know, enough of the right moderators could end up making those two places so close together into a peaceful, cooperative situation instead of a volatile one.

Might be worth a call.
