That IS big yay: I am so glad you disclosed. I really hope that that has helped you feel relieved and more supported.

Perhaps your Mom can now also help you get connected with that rape crisis center?

Yay, congrats! That takes a lot of courage, I'm so glad it worked out well for you. [Smile]

Regarding the underwear, when possible wash it in warm water while it's still wet. Blood comes out like magic when it's wet (I know that -mostly- from menstruation... but not entirely. *looks innocent*) I you can't do that, a slightly hotter wash than normal with some Oxy Clean (If they have that in the US) will usually fix it.

Completely off-topic, but hopefully useful! [Big Grin]

When I told her what happened she seemed to automatically know who did it because she asked me "was it the boy you went swimming with?" I went swimming with the guy about a week and a half before that incident occurred. Then she also said he's disgusting for touching a girl. Which I agreed. I feel like I can be more open with her knowing she won't react in the worst possible way.

Hopefully I can get the stain out.

Are there any reasons to why a period can happen twice in one month?

My experience with blood stains, if I may butt in, is that hot water sets them. Washing them lukewarm works well.
If you can put the stained underwear in cold water right after taking it off, and let it soak for a while (overnight is great) you should be able to get the stain out easily.

Hydrogen peroxide will bleach blood stains, even older ones.

See that's interesting - I always use warm water (not hot, has to be comfortable for my hands for a few minutes), and sometimes hand soap ('cause I figure the knickers are going in the wash anyway, that'll wash away any irritants) and it's always worked for me. I'll try cold next time, and see if it works as well, or even better. [Smile]
