I wanted to say thanks to you guys at Scarleteen for the patience of answering my questions about pregnancy scare. I finally found a way to cool down myself [Smile]

Last night me and my girlfriend talked about this anxiety about pregnancy and we found a conclusion.

We concluded that, we both love and trust each other . So even if she maybe somewhat get pregnant before marriage, for us it is really not the end of the world. In our point of view now, pregnancy really is not a long term problems. We both love and caring each other, got some supportive friends, and our family--well they absolutely will get mad and disappointed at first, but that is absolutely will not going on forever, they will understand and support us (based on my friend's experience). And blah blah blah more positive things we could think if something bad somewhat happened.

We really didn't realize that ending this pregnant-or-not anxiety could be this easy. In our cases, it is just discussing what could happen; is it really bad? and giving support and love to each other. And here we are, ready to face the world together [Smile]

By all means, going ahead and talking through a worst case scenario, talking about practically handling it, rather than staying caught up in fear, is one great strategy.

So glad to hear you employed it and it seems to have had a positive impact for you and your girlfriend. [Smile]
