I told my internet boyfriend today that I wanted to go back to being friends, and he's fine with it ^_^ We did agree to revisit the idea of a relationship if we're ever in close geographical proximity, but for now we're fine as friends. I was dreading the idea of him not wanting to talk to me anymore, but he's okay with still talking and we're doing great!

His exact words were "oh really, I thought it was something really bad", which I have to admit was a slight ego blow. But never mind, it went better than I was expecting, and that's a better result than hurting a friend [Smile] I've offered to help him if he wants to seek out someone else. There's a limit to what I can do from this distance but there are some dating sites I found specifically for people with autism, which we both have, and I said if he wants the links I can get them to him. I'm not going to seek anyone else out for the moment myself, I'm okay now, but I'll keep the links for future reference.
