So not only was there a snow day, but my california mantises, which ive been waiting for hatchlings from since september, have finally hatched!! The california mantis, Stagmomantis californica, is an awesome species in its genus I have 2 other stagmomantis species, limbata, a larger yet drabber and meaner species, and carolina, the smaller and more temperate species I also had 1 carolina baby hatch today I hope to have a carolina population in my yard one day
